Find experienced local help from a Realtor who has dealt with new single properties in that area.You are talking about a lot of work and expenses building something from the ground up.I would find a partner who has successfully built their own properties before to help you.

I wanted to see what other's are experiencing or thoughts around PrePayment Penalties on Commercial loans for Rental Real Estate.In the early days, I was just thrilled that any bank would lend me money.  

Agh - I think my post may have come off as a little insensitive; I'm more concerned about finding additional information on the delays/re-inspections/costs associated with extended contract periods rather than making a buck at someone expense.Given that we may have to delay our closing, I'm curious if anyone has experienced similar scenarios where they were required to re-inspect, re-appraise, etc. following a hurricane strike.
