Having retired, I travel across the USA in our RV and stop in the SA area during the winter months to watch over the properties.I've joined BiggerPockets to network and learn and re-learn RE investing.

One house is rented by a nice older lady that pays 5 days early, and the other one has had the same tenants for five years.

Hell I have never even noticed this house was a 2 family till I walked in the backyard.Sales lady said it needs a roof and other work.I see it needs new exterior doors and storm doorsneeds some new windows.

It may be an expression of their own fear.Two of the people I worked with eventually dipped their toes into buying rentals because they watched me progress.

I have watched in the last year all the updates to the buildings, however, he spelled them out on paper.

@Sylvia Salazar , try looking for a local real estate investor association where you can meet others who are involved and then try to find a way you can provide them some value while watching/learning from them.

I haven't done a deal yet - still watching them cross my plate.I'll be 50 in a few years.
