Would my kitchen never smell the same again?

An investor could put a $10,000 floor in a kitchen that would never return more than 30% of that value or paint the same walls multiple times, you get the idea.

Here is the property info:(mind you this is all info from seller, i have not seen the place yet)The property is a 2 family house that was moderately renovated this year (kitchens updated, new tile, painting etc.)1st floor - 3 br apt, renting for 1100, 2nd floor - 4 br apt, renting for 1200. additional 2 bedroom apt in basement (not legal) and not currently rented.Taxes are $8400.40 min commute to Manhattan via path train. 20 mins drive to manhattan.

Here I would try and find the location with my nose so you don't have to tear up the whole house.Are the kitchen cabinets finished to the ceiling?

I would NOT do a "kitchen table" close on this!

The rooms do not even have to have kitchens....

It pretty much fixed up, just waiting for kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and flooring installation.

The house is perfectly livable, but we want to add some living space by building an extension to our kitchen area and remodel the kitchen.

One for everything, or one for most rooms and something different for kitchen and/or bath.  

The downstairs is a humongous hall with a stage,kitchen  and 20 foot ceilings.Now  that I've been researching church conversions, i'm thinking of tall thin garden apartments with the center as a common area.So how do I reach out to the world,  to whom do I reach out to, in order to stretch to this awesome limit?
