I had a tenant ask me the same thing and being in Ontario I am actually happy they asked for our approval before going ahead.Their doctor has approved them for medical marijuana and the paperwork they have to send to the government is quite detailed and time consuming so they asked for our blessing before going ahead.

While I love investing, the challenge of growing a business gives me something new and challenging to push myself to grow, develop leadership skills, different system, etc. 

My plan is to start investing in real estate starting in the beginning of 2017 i was thinking about taking certification classes in carpentry to brush up on my skills from high school as well as certifications in electrical, real estate, house flipping, in replace of the entrepreneurship degree for right now.

The possibilities are endless depending on your skill level if you're doing it yourself, budget, timeframe, etc.

They lose significant points for having judgments that are anything other than consumer debt or medical (I overlook those), and they lose more points if they owe more than $2K in judgments, to get to the magnitude.  

However, looking at your renovation expenses, I also know that you have insane pricing skills... so I was wondering whether you would mind sharing your thoughts and specific advice for an out of state guy like Nick.
