The property had a large double lot in a nice neighborhood, so in 2014 I subdivided the lot and sold the empty portion of the lot to a builder, and kept the main house on the lot that remained.

In regards to inspection, you should take a 2nd party with you for the inspection, if you don't have a second party then use a body cam, if you don't have or don't want to get a body cam, then set your phone on record - extremely important for Tenants that may claim items have gone 'missing' or which claim they were promised items during your inspection.

But be sure you select one that has up to a year on the terms, doesn't require builders risk insurance, and doesn't require you to escrow the insurance for the length of the loan.
