Seems weird that they'd want to schedule time to see the house, but won't fill out application.

I just received 2 applications from prospective tenants.

My experience has beenthat, the person on the other end of the email sends me a very informal application, also require a origination fee.

Seller costs = can include realtor fees for seller and buyer's agents, attorney fees, transfer taxes, owner's title insurance, prorated property taxes and HOA fees if applicableBuyer costs = origination/processing fees to lender, escrow fees, prepaid taxes & insurance, appraisal, lender's title insurance, home inspection, survey fee (if applicable) prorated taxes and inspection fees.

Or, 2) provide an application for the mother, require it to be submitted, complete, within a day or two.

However, it is important to keep in mind that pre-approval is not a guarantee of financing, as final approval for a mortgage loan is based on an appraisal of the property and a review of your financial situation at the time of the loan application.

It differs with every jurisdiction and I wouldn't want to give you advice on what may not be applicable to where you live.

It's these people that are prone to being scammed cause they hear a million nos but then someone says "sure, let me send you an application" and they fall for it.

What do you all recommend if you have multiple applicants that meet the rental qualifications?
