It is basically the status of being given a direct personal phone line in the old days, and those e-mails get my quick personal attention.Having a commonly used website e-mail address given to everyone, for use by everyone does not meet my criteria for status greater then hot-mail, or GMail and deserving of instant' or greater respect.The thing that counts are the people behind the address, and you get good and bad with both types of e-mail addresses.

Nor does it make it better for my fellow man.Now that you understand the reasoning behind my approach, here is how I qualify a tenant or borrower.I have an un-meddling conversation with them, similar to what they may have with someone they meet at a social gathering.REMEMBER TO LISTEN.

He was really pushing a life insurance vehicle (EIUL), which I am skeptical of given the insurance companies' normally exorbinant fees on these type of products.Turning down free money from a 401k match is barely different from saying you aren't going to accept your social security payment when you are 66-70, because in and of itself it is insufficient for a full retirement.Sure, people have not saved enough for retirement in their 401k plans and overall they are insufficient unless you have saved 14-15% for 30+ years, but that doesn't mean you should throw the baby out with the bath water.

Also, when has the government ever paid back the public for money they have more or less taken from us without our permission, social security is a great example of government borrrowing money without paying it back.
