With regards to electric: 20 amp GFCI protected outlets at kitchen & bath counter levels, hard wired smoke/carbon detectors 15' from all bedrooms and 1 on each level, grounded outlets (if the outlet plug has 3 holes typically your all good if not you will be pulling new wire), from your general comments on overall condition you will likely be looking at a new service & panel as well.

I've plugged in 10% interest because I know my credit is too poor to get a bank loan and my hope is that a HML will look at "the deal" rather than my credit and I expect to pay higher interest rate, but I have no idea what HML may expect.Not sure what additional information might be needed to make a good decision, so I'll do my best to answer any questions.

Go attend local REIA's and investor meetup groups and talk to the investors there; you will not only run into multifamily investors but also other folks you can add to your powerteam to help support your investing.You might find a mentor that you can tag a long with to experience transactions with...it could help you with the experience to move forward toward your own deals.If you ever want to connect over the phone, just private message me...I run a group in San Diego and have a network of folks you can plug into.
