Can someone give any recommendations on wholesaling in a hot Miami market?

My market is crazy hot and sellers can basically get what they want- DOM over 15 days is really rare, and even then, sellers can wait, and in many cases, get their asking price. 

Yes, the Five Points area is very hot now.

You also can definitely go the traditional route with 3.5% down and buy of the MLS too, but remember that FHA will only lend on what the property will appraise for, and it very often will come in lower than asking price in a hot market, so be prepared.

You'll find you have slightly less competition in FV than the hot spots in Wisconsin right now.

Added central air; resealed asphalt; repaired and painted siding; installed new flooring, cabinets, and counters.

I added central heat and air to eliminate the window unit and floor furnace.
