Since title has no control over the tax sale that took place, the cost of defending title for a new buyer/lender against a plaintiff who claims that they were not properly noticed, and the profit/exposure upside and downside are not commercially attractive, it's a no-go.Problems are opportunities, though.

@Reginald Wallace, I was trying to convert to a HELOC to pull cash out and purchase another rental property with cash, and a bonus was that my interest rate would be going from around 8% to about 4%.
