It was quite the adventure. 

I can do basic tasks such as painting, changing out doorknobs, installing wood flooring, etc.  

Even when we try our hardest to accomplish a task, there is no such thing as perfection.

Database and contact management is probably the most important activity and includes a lot of different specific tasks.

As I get more experience, maybe multi-tasking projects will work for me, but I have to start small and build up to that.I look forward to making connections and making use of the vast knowledge base of BiggerPockets and its community.

It's all possible, and the more adventurous you are in terms of neighborhoods, the more potential for profit there will likely be.Good luck!

If the building does nothing more than get you excited about the possibilities of other buildings, the adventure will still be worthwhile to investigate.

A little back story: I started my RE adventures with attending county foreclosure auctions last September.

I do currently reside in Chicago, IL but do plan to return to my home town of Dallas in the next 2 to 3 years in which I plan on investing in real estate (my next entrepreneurial adventure...and a way to fund new ventures as well)...diversification is key!
