You hope to gross $80,000 a year, and then have to deduct three and a half percent for lodging tax, cover utilities, keep the property furnished, pay fees to evolve and other marketing platforms, etc you've already set on the property for 2 years vacant and have to consider those costs.based on what you've shared, even the sales price of $800,000 is not much of a profit.

Since Airbnb and other platforms have become more popular have you seen an increase in investors looking to purchase strictly for income/an investment or is there still a strong demand for a second/vacation home from individuals?

I would recommend looking into the BRRRR strategy that this platform pushes.

Aside from my selfish hope of using this platform to develop a sense of accountability, I hope that a new investor might glean a conservative, realistic, and attainable approach to financial freedom without any hype or anything to sell by sharing what I learn throughout the process and any inputs the more experienced investors chime in with.
