I am currently getting list's from list source I am trying to try something different and actually go to the governmental agency in D.C. that deals with providing real estate data which I believe is the D.C. recorder of deeds.

It was all bought with a HELOC on our original house that we’ve since sold and paid off that HELOC with the appreciation during the crazy run up around 2004/5 and moved along.

I take this opportunity to correct a wrong assumption I had expressed in my original post: When a foreigner inherits a rental property located in the US from another foreigner, the exemption is not actually $60k.
