I still haven't made it there, although close I haven't quite made it to the cash flow level that I need and want for financial freedom from the W2.

My current real estate goals are to formulate a plan utilizing a multitude of real estate purchasing/selling options in order to achieve financial freedom.

I had a 15 year once and wish I had researched my 30 year options, it would’ve helped me out.If you’re goal is financial freedom, smart leverage is the way to go and refi’s are a huge part of that. 

RE is a wealth-builder over time as long as you buy right but it's not all freedom and glamour.

Even if the value of the home goes down in the short term, the freedom, independence, and overall quality of life you'll gain by living on your own and owning your own home, will likely be worth it.  

I agree with finding a good deal is key and in the long term goal 4-5 months won’t be a determine to my financial freedom in 10 year.

That is how you invest, build financial freedom, and become wealthy. 

Would I have freedom to move 1-2 people in or is this something that is frown upon?

However, if the goal is financial freedom, they are necessary.

I don't care what people say in all the podcasts about financial freedom and ease.
