If you don't have a tax accountant, I recommend that you find an accountant that specializes in real estate taxation and business taxation.

Income alone is not a determining factor, as any truly Good co-signer will have a lot of assets...perhaps paid off home, 100K or more in cash equivalents, they may even actually be retired.

Taxes going up though, but as my accountant says...the good news is your assets and income are worth more this year.Did you ever buy a place in Oregan?

If its the trendy hot areas, or general "path of progress" and your able to make a trip and go drive around to find that "path" its really the best way.
