I currently work at Mission Hospital and commute from Morganton NC which is about 50 minutes east.We are going to start investing in rental properties in Asheville and the surrounding areas and are looking to build some long term relationships with agents, lenders, property managers, and contractors.We are both considered high earners with very stable jobs, consistent income, and credit scores well north of 800.

Currently the ABOR MLS which includes a Austin and a wide swath of the surrounding area show 17 fourplexes on the market.

Chattanooga is boo,I gas well with new industry and surrounding areas are older homes.

When our supply is limited to our surrounding area, we pay more.

But the surrounding area is commercial, so I would expect to be able to rezone (although I have not checked yet).It has been on the market for nearing 2 years, so I'm trying to figure out what other aren't seeing that I am...I'm looking for ideas to monetize those other lots (not through resell).
