I did landlording long enough that I have an account with American Tenant Screen, type in the Name, address, and Social Security number, and I'm able to get the credit report on a tenant, any tenant, all by myself.

The work element is an interesting way to add purpose to the relationship and probably helps engage people.

Have you really not found any deals, or not found any deals that you felt engaged to pull the trigger? 

This typically involves networking, which during this pandemic has reduced community networking and has cut down to mostly just social media. 

@Patrick Bavaro advice changes completely if he is dealing drugs of course, but as someone engaged in a pitched battle with sleeping myself right now I don't think you are there yet.

After 5 more calls and several social media posts to c-suit execs, marketing team, and the parent company, they finally did what was right and fully refunded me my out of pocket expenses.

grass is always greener on the other side of the hill.. constant social media of how to get rich with non of your own money etc etc.really just an extension of MLM marketing at its core..  

I'm wondering if more people don't take this option just because of the social stigma of a "trailer park" but that doesn't affect me.

I just engaged my first property management company.They suggested that to find a tenant it will cost 1 months rent for commission split.ANDOn an on-going basis, we will be putting the property under their management, which will cost 10% of revenue (rent).Does this sound reasonable for SFH's?
