My objective is to delay paying taxes and have the business operate close to break even.Here's a scenario:The software piece of business generates 100k in "profits" after all development, hosting, etc.. costs are paid.

But I can tell you that you're not analyzing the property objectively.  

You have two objectives which narrow your deals some.  

My unit is objectively higher quality in furnishings, style, & finishes.

The sophistication test is a subjective, rather than objective one.

I think the lesson being that there's no 'one size fits all' property manager, and it really comes down to an alignment between the parties and their objectives.

This keeps it objective.

Just be clear in explaining to them what your objectives are.

But, as Bruna noted, there are countless reasons why people buy, how they buy, and what their investment objectives are personally.  

But I think a lot of these objections come from shoppers and tire kickers.
