The experience in these towns will suffer enormously if there is no one to wait tables, bump chairs at the resort, plow the roads or clean the rental rooms etc.The Town of Breckenridge just bought a number of condos at around market value, put deed restrictions on them and listed them for $160-180k less than they paid to give a few more options to locals that work 30+ hours a week in the county.

And replace 3rd or 4th generation steel worker with a logger or fisherman and you have the same mentality.. although Portlandia has gone Tech Intel is the largest employer with almost 20k employees and it appears they are going to double down on their fab plants.. the last 10 years they build DX 1 2 3 to the tune of 10B they are going to build even bigger facilities in the next 10 years.. so there is a need for about 30k homes to be built.

If the attorney you talked to is taking their side and not standing up for your position, you need to find a different attorney... one that understands your right to privacy was errantly invaded, and you suffered damages, etc.I would think someone (your attorney or you) needs to reach out to whatever entity 'owns' the police department in your area - and speak with the city / county's risk management department and start a conversation.
