I currently work a corporate job but have always told myself that I will be a millionaire by the age of 40.

Assuming time is your most valuable resource, I would say skip the residential game and buy an aged LLC, LLC business or start a LLC, and prepare to do a multi/office/retail deal in commercial real estate.

Both views have merit.I've recently focused on growing my MHP portfolio in the past year due to intense competition and limited value in the Class C / Class B multifamily arena.  

Make sure to get some good keyword alerts set up so you can see topics that interest you and grow organically.

If you plan on managing your properties at the beginning that is fine, but you never know what the future holds and might not want to when your portfolio grows large enough.

I'm really looking forward to meeting some great people locally to network and grow.

Obviously this will take time to grow but in time, more and more deeds will be publicly auditable and immutable databases.

My interest in REI is to at least supplement my retirement pension in the future and to have something of my own to grow.
