Can I obtain possession and call a locksmith to open the home?

Hi,I recently bought a home in foreclosure and am trying to process an Order of Possession to remove the current occupants.  

In Illinois, if a buyer of a land contract defaults, I must file a forcible entry and detainer case against the buyer to regain possession of the property.  

Contrast this with the land contract or contract for deed, where the contract gives the buyer the right to possession upon execution and payment of a down payment.

When he left it was turned back up for about 1/2 an hour then off, but the tenants then got into a short but heated argument.Some facts:In place tenant has a 2 year oldIn place tenant has given notice, she plans to leave before March 1Notice in place tenant would like to move was given prior to new tenants taking possession.

Question is also, is that common for the area, how long is the rental history and expected use.I would disagree with viewing it as a residential and simply adding a factor as to rents, or decreasing holding costs by the rents since ownership rights, possession, is foregone during rental periods so the value as to residence would also be less.

Not a good way to gain possession or title of a property.  

(On the 8th day, assuming absence of a response to the court by the occupant, I can request signature on a writ of possession, which basically gives me the legal right to schedule time with the sheriff on-site for the removal of all their personal property from the house and potentially onto the front lawn aka actual eviction.)

I had to relinquish possession of property, very valuable assets, to tenants as part of the program.
