@Julie McCoy Thanks for the imput I was going to do the AirBNB thing but for the life of me can not imagine why anyone in their right mind would want to vacation in Oklahoma so before figuring that all out I was in talks with hotel house keepers and in the process of talking to my network to find reliable handy people (if there is one thing Oklahoma excells at it's half wits saying they can do something they have no experience at but are willing to waste your money pretending to learn how to do the job.) 

I closed on this beauty earlier this month (Dec. 2018) and it has been quite exasperating dealing with the seller and the hard money lender!

I love to take older houses and update them to today standards, making them as efficient and beautiful as possible.

I have a very high paying 9-5 operations management position with an industry leading, publicly traded international corporation.Anyways, on top of the world in 2015, new, beautiful intelligent wife who I'd met in 2013. 

NO VACANCY is a beautiful thing!

I'd recommend bringing someone with you if you suspect something fishy going on; always nice to have a witness.

Now I will plug my side of the mountains... lower costs, better weather, beautiful, good university, "nature" is much closer, several decent airports... and you still get to call Colorado home!

The beauty of a va loan is when this sort of thing occurs.  

We chose the Springs for a lot of reasons...cost of living, natural beauty, outdoor recreation, taxes, air quality, proximity to CA and IN (our extended families are in those two states). 

If the markets are rising its a beautiful thing... a bonus if you like
