I personally don't want to depend on this type of luck to make it work- and I don't want to self manage, so the 3rd-party-operator road is the one I would have to travel.

They want it because they are tired of working for money, doing something they’d rather NOT do.They want to spend more time with family, friends, travel, pursue passions, exercise, and more.So, it’s fair to say that for most people, when you really dig in and ask them, their definition of “financial freedom” is having passive income coming in, WITHOUT WORKING, so that they can do all of the above things.That’s good, we’ve narrowed down what most people, and probably you, really want.

I travel for work and so does my partner- but I only hire “turnkey contractors” for big work like complete re-plumbing or roof replacements.

My plan was to travel a lot and I spent 2019 doing that. 2020 has thrown a curve ball but I did have an awesome dive trip in January. 

Of course there are also some positive signs:* RV rentals are showing a strong rebound as people are scared of traveling by plane or stay in hotels. * Workforce RV housing can have an excellent return if there’s demand as there’s less capital needed to fill up the park.

Second, do your research for a while until you’ve chosen a region to invest in, then travel there and spend a few days driving the streets you had already researched online and asked about.

I’m willing to travel anywhere that is safe and profitable.

Another factor here is the rapid growth rate of the Phoenix area, coupled with the fact that I'm willing to travel there multiple times a year (after all, having my entire family there makes this easier).

Hey guys - in a unique situation hereI bought a 2 bed - 1 bath house in KC, MO on an FHA 1.5 years ago, renovated, rented out for a year (got sent away for work after a few months), and just came back to add on to make it a 3 bed - 2 bath to finish the renovation before refinancing.The issue is that I just had to move back to the KC area temporarily (due to COVID - less than 6 months) and would like to stay in the home before moving back out to travel for work (renter just moved out).

We have some trusted "boots on the ground" there already, but we expect there to be travel costs/time and other expenses to consider.What would YOU recommend based on your experience?
