I would network like crazy with locals and people with knowledge from around the world.. that really is the beauty of the internet. 

What would the internet be without people having different opinions and expressing them freely.

The trouble with doing things at the state level is that nothing happens in just one state on the internet.  

How dare people not leap at the chance to invest money in a very speculative venture in a very troubled city because some guy on the internet taunts them?  

Look at the internet bubble for example it looked overstretched way before it was and buying early on there was a great move.

-internet, place an ad for a electrician/ plumber/whatever..tell them x job pays hourly based off a 10 hour job..

Meaning I live in the basement and pay for  both units Internet-50$, gas-?

It happened with airline stocks in the 60s, Energy in the 70s and of course Internet and technology stocks in the 90s.Gold is a speculative investment has no intrinsic value, it's value is purely based on the demand.

I was listening to episode 39 of the bp podcast with Seth Williams and he said he used this company for leads lists for $18/month but I couldn't find it searching the internet and for some reason I can't post in that forum for the podcast.
