Definitely a creative approach, and sounds like it's going to play out well.

isn't working for me....I do belong to a local group and have not approached anyone that I know of about this in particular.

However, if I do move into first place, I'm going to totally rethink how I'll approach negotiations.

I have bought multi family buildings and whenever I approach my lender about seller financing the answer is always "Can't do it.

I have thought about approaching the people behind the property to see if they're willing to sell the front half of their land,  but I need to focus on the one property right now.The end goal is to profit $20-$30k on this property.

As it turns out, some of the folks I've been talking to are eager to partner up because many of them are approaching retirement age.

How would you approach this deal?  

Now that I am approaching retirement age, I am thinking more seriously about real estate again.  

You need to approach it from the perspective that it is a specialty market and requires somewhat different screening, management and operation practices than the norm.
