Hello everyone, my wife and I are preparing to take an online real estate course for the state of California.

I also have access to my 401k which I have basically saved to use as the starting platform for my investing. 

I’m looking at Worcester because Multi-families are cheap compared to the rest of the state and I feel like it is a decent rental market due to the many colleges, universities, hospitals, and commuter access into Boston.

It should work fine, particularly if you have access to folks who need less space and lower rents...think students, medical interns, etc.

@Jim Cummings that's possible, but not all sold amounts get reported through to what is visible to those of us without realtor access. 

If it's somewhere else...you may have to take a more expensive course of action to treat the hazard. 2) Lead paint on Accessible/Mouthable surfaces.

Choosing a online school has been mind blowing.

It sounds like any other sale, even though it is being done by auction.  90 days is Plenty of time to get financed, but you’d have to make sure:It’s zoned as residentialIt will appraise for your bid priceYou can have access for insurance and lender inspections/appraisals.It is in good enough condition to get a conventional loan, or you could take a shot at a 203k or Fannie purchase/Reno loan.The auction terms/details Should tell you if this is prohibited for some reason.
