You would have to do it right, though.You would have to take possession of the property as your primary residence and then get the proper licenses from the city of Austin and pay hotel taxes on it.

eviction is what you need to do.I have had the homes by the time I got possession complelty stripped to the studs.. you can sue.. but if they have no money you just throw money away.. buying auction properties has RISK .. your learning this first hand now.

Tenants were placed by our management company that we have terminated our agreement with.While the house is clean and in good shape, they did not move any of their possessions prior to eviction and have stated they would like them, so we have to retain them for 30 days.

You can rent the house, but you must have a 30-day notice to cancel clause in your lease because if the taxpayer redeems, you (and your tenant) are no longer entitled to possession.
