I am currently looking for a title company in the Bettendorf/Davenport area and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations?

Or do I have to officially put the P&S into escrow with title company?

Any title search should identify all the liens on the property.  

Easiest way is to contact the title company that was used during the purchase process.

I’m in the Peoria area also and have an identical background to yours, except I was with Palm Springs PD in California then moved out here to get into corporate security with CAT.

Also, my PML will be on the loan/title with me until we refi and quit claim. 2).
