Hi Adrienne, I am in the Cleveland market so I can not speak for Dayton, however in Cleveland the housing stock is older and you need to take the inspection report with a grain of salt.

In one of the upstairs apartments we found an unused top level (finished attic) room that clearly had mice living there - which opens into the unit and the tenant had mouse traps at the door that led there.We didn't see evidence of mice in any of the other units, however in one of the units the tenant was out when we came, was very much a mess with old food, garbage, old cans, and garbage piled up in every room.
