New "investors" (actually most all are real estate operators, not investors) take a very casual approach trying to deal in an industry that is pretty well regulated and getting into  financing matters with a cavalier approach is just plain dangerous.

Take away our ability to manage material logistics, and we get dangerously close to a full system breakdown.So the problem is - One: The investor wants to manage a process which I would call an integral part of our core competency. (99/100 times, he will not be very good at it... and certainly will not ever be as good at it as we are)Therefore - I am less profitable because I'm not supplying the materials, AND because I'm losing control over a major critical path process.
