After about two years into ownership, I had to relocate to another city, and was forced into renting.

The buyer who is relocating from Florida and made arrangements to be present at the inspection would have been pretty frustrated to have to reschedule for an unknown time or even cancel.

I am relocating to Orlando Florida within the next year and my goal is to acquire a multi unit complex.

Running wires in conduit (or just relocating into a wall) and patching a drywall ceiling is peanuts.

@Jay HinrichsI'm in Pennsylvania, but for an opportunity like this I would be willing to relocate for the Winter (I wouldn't miss the cold weather, believe me) and perhaps blog the whole process.

The “intent” portion is normally for situation of military members that buy a home and then get orders to move again in under a year to another part of the country but I believe for veterans that same excuse can be used if you got relocated for your job and such but you may need to verify that with your lender before getting the loan. 

Additionally, the city is experiencing growth with several major corporations relocating in the near future, leading to an influx of employment opportunities.

I am currently a licensed agent in Colorado but we are looking to relocate to Casper next year.
