Then again joining a ski club with a house might be cheaper.We lost a deal in Vermont on buying a ski club house something like the boarding house Bill mentioned, we were involved prior to the house going for sale and it is a management challenge to book those rooms and have people share the common space.

It ia possible to find a leak once they thaw.Weeks/months ago was the correct time to worry.Since this a is temporary (heat will be on by next year), use space heaters to thaw or prevent freezing if you can get power from a common area.I insulate pipes in semi-heated areas, and use heating cable covered in insulation wherever I have pipes in unheated areas.

save your money the local realtor boards provide the MLS to it's members (brokers/agents) and usually they offer public access to their system, although not as sexy as say a Zillow or Truilia the data is very accurate and updated within minutes not days also when you sign up there is no spam and you have direct access to the listing agent.
