Schedule E has no limit on the amount of property tax you can pay.  ;-)It MIGHT put some overhead pressure on 800k and above properties, since they will hit the 10k property tax limit, but I doubt it.

As @Tom Gimer mentioned, it sounds like the property Did go through probate, and into you and your brother’s name.....this is why the county records would show you as the owners(since you are) and the tax bill would have whatever address was listed in the probate files.Whi,e you have no personal liability for the loan, the foreclosure suit Will by law include the current owner’s as defendants.
