No worries, I have thick skin!

I essentially had 0 skin in the game except my time.  

I know this is kind of a shot in the dark, but I would love to hear from experienced investors who've worked with private money lenders.

I'm thinking of starting a property management company with "skin in the game".

The warmth of the water sends a rush of blood to your hands and feet, where the veins are right under your skin.

If you need to you can start alone in the dark or alone in front of a mirror, play both parts, get good comfortable and confident in what you want to say. 

I don't know your market specifically, but if this was in my area, I would probably only clean up the yard, paint interior to a neutral color, and MAYBE the cabinets, and replace carpet that looks dirty and worn.  

No skin off his back as long as the boyfriend continued to pay rent for the final two months.

My thinking on why this might be a good strategy: Seniors with low equity are likely to be in financial distress given that they are older and don't have much skin in the game when it comes to their home.
