We were doing the big-box stores (Lowes/HD) - we decided to go with Zen.

I am assuming you trimmed the fat on the underwriting process - I'm curious to know how you're able to get it done.

Even some big players are closing significant amount of stores globally.

I dont think I had ever spoken to someone on a grocery store, save to say excuse me, before moving here.

I told her all she needs to do is store the remaining possessions for the required time but obviously run that by legal advice.

I bet this becomes de rigeur across the board.BTW, these areas don't want fat SF salaries coming to their towns.

Even though we're 30 mins outside of the main city, we're still within a 1/2 mile of a Super Walmart and the adjoining satellite stores that follow.

Can they store belonging in the basement? 

@Moises R Cosme you have some excellent points and those are why I usually avoid getting involved with residential condos myself.However @Carrie Benoit was asking about retail condos so they are meant to be leased to small businesses and the comparison to SFs or MFs isn't really a good one.Basically, these are the small-medium size store fronts you often see at the ground level of busy foot-traffic areas.At this point (in the pandemic) it's much more about whether you think retail is a good risk or not, since we don't really know what foot traffic is going to be like, whether we'll have another lock down, etc.I don't have any direct experience with retail condos though I have run across them a few times in my travels.
