Hi Everyone,I was helping a client find a rental in the metro west area outside Boston and I noticed real estate agents who owned and managed the units they are listing were charging a brokerage fee to the potential tenant (my client) to move in to their home.I thought this was weird because why would an agent want to collect a fee from their potential tenant on top of first, last & security.

Does anyone use an outside company to protest their annual property taxes? 

I've updated my numbers based on information received in and outside this thread.

Any suggestions on seller friendly appraisers that do work outside of the bank system?

The HVAC unit can be in the attic, or basement and AC condenser outside. 

I get a text, "There's a big dog outside scaring us and we can't leave the house." 

There are opportunities if you think outside the box a bit. 

Are you outside the city where the market is cheaper?

They completely ignored the fact that the door was hit from outside in, not inside out.
