Another quick cheat method is go to a new build model homes in your area (trends are geographic) they usually have 3 styles of finishes you can choose from, just snap a picture so you can decided latter on your dream home (LOL)I also cruise zillow/ mls for other flip houses in my area and save pictures of the style I like.

Ask them for before and after pictures of a kitchen and ask them how much it cost. 

She answered all my questions, gave her opinion and advice, organized all the inspections, asked the seller to pay for things, took extra pictures, communicated during late night hours because of the time difference, and the list goes on.

The pictures are nice but things don't work out usually because of the tenants. 

Adjust price, look at how you are advertising, are the pictures good, etc?

Pictures are what really sell a place and the reviews. 

If you are in this business for the long run, then one deal is nothing compared to the bigger picture.
