That should be tested prior to the sale, and if there is a lender involved, they will probably require it.You also want to address the age, type and condition of underground tanks. 

@Marcos Torres As you probably know, the underground storage tank may or may not be a problem.

Many partnerships tank because they just don't address situations up front that will eventually come up. 

The two water tanks are also on the same gas meter as the furnace.

Buyers lost their money as it was not refundable, "they are sharks who have no business ethics".

If you are in a neighborhood people will sometimes question it (and dont forget you have to get the holding tank emptied some time.)
