They want markets like Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Nashville, Phoenix, Raleigh, Tampa and Vegas. so we are traveling to new markets now to offer our product and the home we build on build to rent so we have more options than just our market and we are in a top 20 metro. 

If you own them outright, of course they do, but then you are giving up massive opportunity to invest somewhere else like Phoenix/Las Vegas, etc, where you might possibly have cash flow and appreciation.

Those cities include Atlanta, Charlotte, Las Vegas, Nashville, Philadelphia, and Phoenix.

I think you should consider the Tri Cities, Spokane, Las Vegas, Phoenix if you want to be profitable.  

Vegas and Austin have a HUGE influx of Californians going there.

In Las Vegas, inventories are extremely low, and prices for the segment we target have increased by 10% since January.
