Connecticut is not a super cheap market by any means, but I feel like people are moving into our cities more.

In Newark, the worst area close to me, you can't find a 6 unit fully rented that cheap.

For ~8% that's a pretty cheap way to climb that learning curve for a year.

Cheap properties like this have a lot of unknowns and you need to be sure before you dive in.

Just checking since I think us and Seattle are the most expensive, while PHX is pretty cheap by comparison - Go figure. 

., but you have to bring SOMETHING to the table. ...regardless of what type of value you bring, it has to be sufficiently valuable for the mentor to benefit (and if the mentor is a highly experienced and successful RE investor, their time is extremely valuable, so they ain't gonna come cheap!). 

I personally buy at all times, just make sure it's cheap enough

@Shalaye Camillo my first reaction is that $17k to add a bathroom and re-do a kitchen sounds cheap.
