The area has been a mecca for vacation rentals for a long time, and the local economy and service professionals are completely entwined with the industry.  

I look forward to learning from other professionals on the Bigger Pockets platform. 

They spent a lot of their own time during those 6 months learning the biz in the hardest and most frustrating way possible, with no professional help, only to sell their home for $400k less than market value in the end. 

My professional objective is to get into management.

A professional Trust Deed investment company would just let me know that they had preferred investors or be straight up with me on the funding process for whatever was going on.

I think the furnishings ended up coming out really clean, we were thrifty with doing it but between that and the professional photos it made the property show really well.

Bottom line - BRRRR will continue to be my focus for the near term, and I certainly have more to learn and ways to improve; however, I am concerned that the course may be too basic.  

Of course, while you talk to a lender and realtor also.
