Most areas of the country now have local rules governing how many unmarried people can occupy a room.For example, some areas say you can't put more than two kids in a bedroom and they must be the same gender.So, if you have a two bedroom house or apartment for rent and someone comes to you with 4 kids, as long as they are all the same gender or split 50/50 you can't refuse to rent on that basis.

It's fairly large (4400 Sq/6 bedrooms) We will own it free and clear and should be completed around April.

So here is the situation...On October 1st my tenant mentioned their washer (purchased by them) was leaking and that there was major warping in the downstairs bathroom (also the washer/dryer room), bedroom, and hallway.

Ive been looking and I've found a few 6 or 7 bedroom houses for under $250K in Salt Lake County (haven't looked in Utah County).

(right now planning on buy and hold though) Also a block away is a condo complex renting 2 bedroom one baths for 1000 plus 275 a month for HOA.

We paid $2,000 for a seven bedroom house with a pool for the week.

Thank god that was only a 1 bedroom.

I went back into one of the bedrooms and saw wet streaks running all down one wall.

Ive been surprised at how many 1 and 2 bedrooms Im finding compared to the lack of 3's in multi-unit.
