Far too many people claim they want to retire so they can travel the world or spend more time with family, but then they actually don't do it or get burned out really quick.It's important to be honest with ourselves.

This is a path very few people will travel and it is a very wonderful thing.

We also like to travel and are therefore out of touch for a day or more at a time (in the air, on a cruise, etc).

I'm sure in the 50s and 60s, it was a much nicer looking location and attracted travelers with their RVs. 

If i go this route, my math tells me i can make close to enough to live on and work optionally if i rent out my current house, so that would free me up to travel and such.I'm 30 years old and don't want to work my whole life, but i also don't want to be bored.

Do U stop flying or traveling ?

even though for many Out of state investors it basically wipes out the first 6 to 12 months of cash flow  IE your expense to travel to the market pay for hotel car  dining out ( although you have to eat no matter where you area)... but its nice to spread those expenses over multiple properties.in the foreclosure bizz this is just SOP  par for the course.. many times you can't get in.. especially with an owner that may be a tad hostile. 

One of the tenants mentioned how they have to travel extremely far on the bus for the closest laundry mat.

Are there US Notaries that can notarize overseas, or do I have to have a Canadian notary then verified by the embassy...or have her travel to Calgary to pay $50 and have them notarize it (which is Asinine!)?
