I was curious since this post is a few months old, have you had any luck on using certain platforms?

So much so, these entrepreneurs are called “Tampreneurs.”Tampa has the diversified economy millennials seek, led by financial services, STEM-related occupations, health care, research, education, tourism, retirement, and military bases all making significant contributions to jobs and growth.

I just assumed someone would take the opportunity to warn me about the potential problems of asking for deals and leads on such a big platform, such as scams or lemons, etc. 

Is the leak within the unit you would be rehabbing or is it stemming from another unit or a roof issue, that isn't getting fixed?  

@Joshua Christensen Have you looked into Real Estate crowdfunding platforms like Fundrise or Buy the Block?

My idea is to start an online/ mobile app platform that would allow younger people or people with smaller amounts of money they’re willing to risk in an investment to crowdsource properties in large groups and collectively buy properties outright.

I'd just recommend using as many listing platforms as you can.

The new focus for short-term rentals is building your own brand outside of the Airbnb platform anyway.

It's exciting to have owners, investors, residents, students, etc all join this great platform – in order to grow in whatever their area of interest is.
