My Insurance policy for the property was recently cancelled because of 'dangerous animal' on property.I already made the Tenant signed a new lease after 30 days that prohibits Pets butTenant refused to remove the animal because Tenant claims she had it before I bought the property and also because the dangerous animal is 'sentimental' to her family.

I fix anything that I don't want to mess with when a tenant is in place...unlike our author I don't dumb the whole place down because my tenants are animals, I fix them right while it's vacant so I can move a tenant in and start the relationship right...not with a two-page punch list of repairs needing to be addressed.

That's a different animal and yes they are connected in a way.

I finally just used KILZ oil based paint and painted everything with at least 2 coats. 

Hi All,Just wanted to solicit some feedback from those with more experience around tenants with emotional support animals.  

"I didn't know that" is not a valid excuse for late payments, unauthorized animals, unauthorized painting, or any of the other multitude of items spelled out in the documents.

Sometimes people will force you to behave like animals, I dont know if its being in denial or he is just trying his luck.

I would like to get out of it someday soon or at least in the next few years.I own an old farm between Charlotte and Hickory, NC. ( No animals or crops anymore ) It was totally paid for many years ago.
