In 3 months time versus 1 year I can sell a 6 million retail center for instance and make a few hundred k or more in commission.

You should take into consideration what the profit will be with the higher rate and the second investment property versus keeping the original property at its current rate. 

We feel that the lessons learned here will help make the next one more streamlined and we are working on the systems to make that happen.
