I grew up there, but now live in the warm desert.

Do we get told that we are cold hearted and that we are horrible people, of course but there are those that are very happy we called and are thankful for having somebody to talk them though the process.

I really had my heart set on buying a condo to turn into a rental property, but unfortunately in my neck of the woods I can't buy anything for cash.

It could be an easy fix, but it needs to be addressed or you will find droppings and other "nasties" accumulating which will lead to terrible odors that will drive tenants away - if they weren't scarred already.From personal experience, rats can take some time to completely eliminate because when they find a warm and dark place, they tend to nest there.

From everything I've read and heard of yours, @Al Williamson, it's clear you take the ideal to heart, and it doesn't surprise me that people want to be part of what you do and want to see you succeed -- which in turn helps you succeed.If more people had that attitude (it seems a lot of BP people do), investors wouldn't have such a bad name, and investing would be seen as fueling a strong economy, as opposed to being a scapegoat for a poor one.I don't imagine you started this thread looking for compliments, but there you go
