I applaud you - and am excited for the trajectory, that once begun, will carry you as far as your heart desires! 

The not-so-nice version is GFY.I put my heart and soul into each property I buy.

So if I can do it, so can you.BUT it takes hustle, it took a lot of time and took a lot of work.It's not for the faint-hearted but if you can survive the military and have the mental discipline needed, you can do it too!

I have a saying and I think a lot of you should really take this to heart.

Existing multi-family homes range anywhere from approximately 180k-400k in the area, depending on age and proximity to the heart of downtown.

Investing in syndication is like being a passenger on the bus.  

My biggest advice for out of state investors is finding the right team members who has your best interest at heart (and not chasing a commission check or see you as a paycheck!).

I am looking to invest in my first rental property locally in and around Austin areas and wanted to see if there are any local kind hearted veteran investors who is willing to share their knowledge on how to get started in this process as i am completely NEW to rental property investing. 

If you have a strong heart, just try to add a dog or two to your reservation, or find one with a hot tub, pool, or club house and you'll see just how much of the money taken for YOUR property ends up in their pockets and how quickly their "guest facing fees" can add up to be more than your total rent.
