For people in high cost markets like you have no choice but to invest outside of your local area if cash flow is your objective.

You'll still likely lose money on this overall, but the objective is to recover what you can from those other parties for any liability they may hold in this whole scenario. 

However, you definitely want to make sure you’re using successful scripts that produce responses rather than objections.

My objective is not to cut a small cost and alienate him, but actually to find ways to ensure mutual success.

I am not originally from here, so I keep an objective view of the overall city and the real estate market as I'm not really emotionally tied to an area.
