Opened up walls, totally reconfigured the master suite, added lots of custom details like contemporary railing made from pipes, built-ins, concrete counters, antique pantry door and we made it a true 4 bedroom by adding a closet to one of the bonus rooms in the basement.

It makes it more difficult to predict depreciation timing (as typically in a single deal you can expect most in year 1 if bonus depreciation/cost seg used).  

Doubling the rents was a nice bonus. 

For a very generous price of $40,000 you will be coached by the main guy 1-on-1 for an entire year guarenting you will make your first deal happen of which he will some how find a way to insert him self and take have your profits as well.

What was the start date of your job, and is it salaried, hourly, or any commission, bonus, or over-time?

That's 3.5 months of loss income you now have this year (1.5 reno+1 vacancy+1 placement bonus). 

Where can I deposit my bonus where the least amount of taxes are taken out and I can invest it in real estate as quick as possible.

If it is ordinary income than i would rather 100% bonus depreciate the carpet in which case my capital gain is still only $8,000 x 20% but not the carpet is just depreciation recapture at 25% which is less than my marginal tax rate. 

Additionally, any pay increase/bonuses I get automatically will be going toward a Roth until I max out.
